Can I boost my State Pension?
The amount of State Pension someone receives depends on their record of National Insurance contributions. For anyone who reached State Pension Age after 5 April 2016, the full State Pension – with effect from 6 April 2025 – is £230.25 per week. However, for various reasons some people may be heading for less than this amount, and, in some cases, may be able to boost their pension by paying voluntary National Insurance contributions.
