LCP has developed a tool to see if as a widow or widower you may be entitled to an inherited State Pension.

The group most affected are those who are widows or widowers at the point when they claim their new State Pension and where either:

• The late spouse or civil partner reached State Pension Age before 6 April 2016; or
• The late spouse or civil partner died before 6 April 2016.

The site can also be used by those who would like to understand what they might be entitled to from the State Pension arrangements if their spouse were to die before them.
